  • A current member of Local 500 renewing your membership and you don’t already have a discount code
  • A member of another Local where your status is “Active” or “Resigned in Good Standing”
  • Paying by check

New Regular members pay a $65 Federal initiation fee and a $20 Local initiation fee.

Student members pay no initiation fees and reduced yearly dues.

Life Membership is for any musician at least 65 years of age with at least 35 consecutive years of AFM membership.
